The perfume arrived quickly, in sweet packaging. The smell is ethereal! Smoky, sweet, earth-y, and clean. It transports one to a beautiful lake filled with Lilly pads, tucked away in lush forest. Will be my go to scent moving forward.
Lovely perfumes as always. Lady of the lake hit me immediately with this addictive juicy fig scent that gave way to the smoke and the salt over time, like the fig itself was being cured or smoked on an open fire. The rose keeps everything on the sweet side, which I think tempers the more savory smell of salt and smoke well.
Enjoying this perfume - one must apply first and then let your body chemistry 'adjust'. Lovely.
This one was a bit of a miss for me unfortunately. The first hour it smelled strongly of smoke. Afterwords I detected the nice floral and fig notes. But this is exactly why I buy the samples, to find what I like.👍
