"In Repose" - Casket Wood, Labdanum, Amber, Frankincense, Myrrh, Sandalwood

In Repose blew me away. I usually hate dry powdery scents but this one has me loving the way it sits on my skin. Smells of a dry bouquet, old wood, and perfume bottles that have sat in your grandmothers house for decades. I feel like a relic wearing this, in the best way possible. Will be ordering from your website once you move!

A calm blanket wraps one in it's embrace. It feels like time stops: enjoy the feeling! Rich, fragrant incense protects and suddenly rest is at hand. A little goes a long way! I await the next shipment: the first got here very quickly, indeed, and after a few months, I'd say it's time. Therapy in a bottle, reasonably priced.

What magic is this? I ordered this in a somber mood, on a cold winter's day, thinking of those loved and lost. It arrived just in time, on a bleak, frozen day as I struggled to contain frantic thoughts. One whiff and I became calm. Honestly, the effect was instantaneous. The myrrh, casket wood, frankincense combo evokes formal sacred spaces, but the amber & sandalwood gently warms and I felt the touch of labdanum is the perfect earthy rounding note to tie it all together. Inspired. Using as required.

All the perfumes I've tried from the shop so far have been delightful, and In Repose is no different - an elegant, wooden sweet scent with a vintage funeral home vibe to it. Very careful and thoughtful work with packaging and shipping as well!

Shipped fast and had way more than expected! Smells like the description I only gave it a 4 starts because it smells not only like a funeral home(good) but like you're standing over an open casket(not for me personally, I only know this cause of my work). If you don't/haven't work with the deceased trust me you would not recognize it.

If youre into the sweet corpse smell though this is for you (I forget which high end also smells like this but typically any cherry/almond perfume does). ie.Still smells like your rich aunt you see every 2 years.
